2016 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)

    2016 was the Rookie Season for "The Mighty Robo-Rangers" - FRC 5960. Our team attended our first-ever FRC Competition in San Antonio, TX at the Alamo Regional on March 9th -12th, 2016. It was a great experience for the entire team to get an opportunity to compete at this level. We competed alongside some great teams from all over the great State of Texas and many other teams from other countries as far as China, Turkey, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. 5960 has been very grateful for all the exposure that FIRST has provided for our team. We greatly appreciate all the sponsors who have made this dream possible. We are extremely grateful for our Title Sponsors - The Argosy Foundation and First in Texas-Dell Foundation. These two foundations have provided a substantial amount of financial assistance in the form of grants that allowed all this to become a reality. We are also thankful for the City of Mission, Texas for also providing assistance to FRC 5960. We are very grateful for two campuses, Alton Memorial Jr. High (AMJH) and Mission High School (MHS) for all the support they have given us through this journey. Special Thanks to AMJH Principal - Ms. Sylvia Garcia and MHS Principal - Mr. Edilberto Flores.

     2016 was a learning year and the team looks forward towards next season and to all the challenges that come with the FIRST Robotics Competitions. We look forward to represent our FRC 5960 - "The Mighty Robo-Rangers", our schools, our school district - Mission CISD, and our communities.
